This class introduces the beginning violinist to various musical styles and the proper technics for playing the violin. Students will learn basic music theory including rhythmic notation in addition to reading standard notation. Students should provide their own instruments. We offer regular performing opportunities in the classroom and with 2x yearly formal recitals in our performing hall. Parents are required to attend the younger child's class with the student. The group interaction of the small class facilitates a positive learning environment.
